My passion for materials science motivated me to pursue graduate-level studies. Japan's significant contribution in the field of material science made me decide to pursue graduate-level studies from Japan. I applied for MEXT scholarship through Embassy of Japan in India and got selected to pursue my master's degree at Kyushu University.
I completed my master's degree and started my doctoral studies at Kyushu University. I was awarded the extension of MEXT scholarship too, to pursue doctoral studies. Currently, my research focuses on designing materials that can store hydrogen in solid form. My research involves conducting experiments, performing theoretical calculations and developing artificial intelligence models. Kyushu University has a vibrant international environment from students all around the world. This creates a wonderful learning environment providing growth through exchange of different cultures and perspectives. Kyushu University is located in Fukuoka next to Itoshima so there's always a beautiful environment to enjoy, amazing food to eat and countless natural sites to explore throughout Kyushu. I extend my deepest gratitude to the Embassy of Japan in India and MEXT for awarding me the scholarship, which has made my dream of pursuing higher education in materials science a reality.
