My Journey To Japan
I am currently a MEXT (Monbukagakusho) Scholarship student pursuing my postgraduate studies in Fisheries Resource Science at Graduate School of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Kagoshima University, Japan. Receiving this prestigious scholarship has been a life-changing opportunity, allowing me to follow my passion for aquaculture research in one of the most advanced academic environments in the world.
My journey toward the scholarship began with a strong academic background in fisheries and active involvement in research related to sustainable aquaculture practices. I prepared thoroughly for the application process, which included a written test and interviews, where I emphasized both my academic achievements and my research proposal. With the support of my professors and mentors, I was able to present a clear vision of how my research could contribute to sustainable fish nutrition and global food security.
At Kagoshima University, I am conducting research on alternative feed ingredients for aquaculture to reduce dependence on fishmeal and promote environmentally friendly practices.
The MEXT Scholarship has not only supported my education financially but has also given me the platform to connect with international researchers, experience Japanese culture, and prepare myself to contribute meaningfully to the future of fisheries science.
