| Special notes | Students who meet all of the following requirements can apply for this scholarship: (1) Be enrolled in a full-time degree undergraduate or graduate program. (2) Be raising preschool children who are enrolled in a childcare institution in Japan. (3) Be exempt from the residence tax, or paying less than 169,000 yen on income-based levy. (4) Not be receiving the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho, or MEXT) Scholarship or any other scholarship whose amount is equivalent to or larger than it: undergraduate student 119,000 yen, Master’s student 146,000 yen, PhD student 147,000 yen. |
