Ehime University is a National University located in Matsuyama. Ehime University contributes to the improvement of the intellectual and cultural level of society through its educational and research activities. We aim to develop human resources who will contribute to the development of local Ehime. Matsuyama city is a good place to be, living expenses are low, and the city has a comfortable climate. In addition, we provide a sound education in many opportunities for students such as internship, and leadership training. Many of our international graduates has successfully found work through our special program which prepares international students for working in Japan.

Ehime University, with respect for knowledge and the realization of diversity and sustainability as its basic principles, aims to become a university that continues to make an impact on society by improving its ability to foster human resources, create excellence in research and innovation, collaborate with local communities, and cooperate internationally, while seeking the ideal society in the medium term when values are undergoing major changes. Aiming to be a university that continues to have an impact on society. Specifically, based on a broad range of academic fields, from the humanities to the sciences, the university will nurture the next generation of human resources with specialized skills in their respective academic fields, liberal arts skills that lead to flexible ideas, and practical skills to tackle issues, and will develop outstanding research that leads to the creation of innovation. In addition, we will foster digital human resources, collaborate with stakeholders for the purpose of local development, regional industrial revitalization, and local cultural promotion, support various generations with a desire to learn, contribute to local medical care and healthy society, accept international students and send students abroad, and promote international joint research. Through these activities, the university will acquire social brand value and funds to strengthen its management capabilities and become a leader of regional national universities in the 21st century, where all people can be equally active.
