Human Education at Hakuoh University: Pioneering a New World
Hakuoh University is committed to fostering human development that opens new horizons in society. A distinctive feature of our academic programs is the emphasis on language education and international exchange, which enhances students’ global competencies. We have adopted a liberal arts education system that allows students to freely and independently explore a wide range of academic disciplines.
Our main campus, located in front of JR Oyama Station—a major transportation hub intersected by the Shinkansen and multiple railway lines—hosts the Faculty of Business Administration and the Faculty of Law. Meanwhile, the Daigyōji Campus, situated in the suburbs of Oyama City, is home to the Faculty of Education. Each campus provides a rich and supportive learning environment tailored to its respective fields of study.
Comprehensive Support for International Students and Enriched Exchange Opportunities
Hakuoh University welcomes approximately 30 international students from diverse countries around the world. In addition to specialized academic subjects, students can engage in structured learning of the Japanese language and Japanese society after enrollment. Many students successfully pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) at the N1 level by the time they graduate.
The university also offers a wide range of international exchange activities, providing numerous opportunities for meaningful cross-cultural interaction among Japanese students, full-time international students, and exchange students. These initiatives foster mutual understanding and contribute to a vibrant and inclusive campus community.
