Fostering Creative Human Resources for the Community
Since its establishment in 2001, Nagaoka University has remained committed to its mission as a “university for the community,” dedicated to developing individuals who can contribute to regional progress. Through the study of economics and business administration, we encourage our students to become creative human resources who can identify and address local challenges with initiative and insight. In the face of issues such as population decline and aging, the future of our communities depends on the learning and efforts of each individual. Nagaoka University will continue to work hand in hand with its students to be a trusted institution that supports and advances the region’s development.
