Motto, Principles and School Culture

While emphasizing the university motto jin (benevolence), based on Juntendo’s guiding principle of continuously moving forward, we have established a school culture summed up in the phrase “sanmu shugi (the “three noes” principle),” which refers to our culture of not discriminating against people on the grounds of gender, nationality, or academic background. As a comprehensive health university consisting of seven undergraduate faculties, three graduate schools, and six affiliated hospitals, we are contributing to society and cultivating talent at the international level through education, research, medical care, and the liberal arts.
