Nagoya University of Commerce and Business, the first generation private university in Japan, was founded in 1935 by Yuichi Kurimoto, the first international student to graduate from the University of Alberta in 1930 and the founder of the Kurimoto Educational Institution (KEI). Over the last 80 years, the university has become known worldwide as a premier educational institution. 
NUCB was the first undergraduate school in Japan and part of only 5% of business schools worldwide to hold the prestigious AACSB accreditation. NUCB Graduate School of Management were awarded the Triple Crown (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) in 2021, joining an illustrious group of just over 100 top schools worldwide to have such a distinction.
We are located in Aichi prefecture which is abundant with history and is also the industrial capital of Japan, being the home to many world-leading companies, most notably Toyota.
There is much to see and do with unique local foods, great nightlife, rustic beauty and distinctive arts and crafts. And being in the center of Honshu, Aichi prefecture offers convenient access to major cities in Japan, such as Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.
Our picturesque Nisshin Nagakute campus is home to over 3,000 students with approximately 20% of international students from over 60 nationalities, offering a diverse community full of global talent. 
We have exchange agreements with over 100 world-class universities across more than 60 countries with a growing number of Double Degree partners.

Case Method

Course materials consist of the latest business cases from renowned case publication houses, such as Harvard Business Publishing, the Case Centre, and Ivey Publishing.
