ESTABLISHED BY TOYOTA MOTOR.AS PART OF ITS CORPORATE CITIZENSHIP INITIATIVE
Toyota Technological Institute was founded by Toyota Motor Corporation as a part of its social contribution action plan.Kiichiro Toyoda, the eldest son of Sakichi Toyoda who is the king of Japanese inventors, laid the foundation of the Japanese automobile industry.He had a dream that once his company reached some stage of success, he would inaugurate a college to nurture innovative engineers that would lead the country to a brighter future.His dream finally came true in 1981, when his successors opened Toyota Technological Institute.
