Established in 1966, Yamagata Women's Junior College became co-ed in 2001, and became Tohoku Bunkyo Junior College with the opening of the four-year college in April 2010. We are celebrating our 55th anniversary this year. Under the founding spirit of "Respect, Love, and Trust," our goal is to nurture human resources who can truly contribute to society by exploring humanity, deepening their education as human beings, and learning specialized knowledge and skills.

"The Department of Early Childhood Education" aims to nurture human resources with comprehensive practical skills in childcare and education, who combine rich humanity and social skills for the children who will create the future. Classes and practical training are systematically arranged in stages of learning so that students can spend two years becoming childcare providers who can work with children.In the "Department of Policy and Administration Welfare, we provide education for advanced care workers who can provide specialized care for people who need nursing care, as well as cultivate high-quality human resources who can apply nursing care and welfare studies in today's complex and diverse society and contribute to a wide range of community areas, including home care, nursing care facilities, offices, hospitals, and businesses.
